From December 14, 2024, the AI-IoT Club at the Faculty of Science in Tetouan invites undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to participate in innovative projects (PFE & others) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT). In collaboration with professors and research labs, participants will work on real-world challenges like smart city solutions, IoT-based agriculture systems, and AI-driven medical platforms. This initiative offers expert guidance and practical experience to foster innovation and prepare students for future technological demands

The Practical Introduction Session on the Arduino Board will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 9:30 AM in Room 9, Faculty of Sciences, Tetouan. This session offers beginners a hands-on introduction to programming and electronics, covering components like LEDs, buttons, and servomotors. Participants will gain practical skills in using the Arduino IDE and managing digital and analog inputs for projects, including graduation projects (PFE). More information…

Every Saturday, from Nov. 7, 2024. Meetings to build a Strong Foundation in Artificial Intelligence: Focus on Large Language Models (LLMs)

Our faculty launches a pioneering initiative to equip PhD students with a strong foundation in AI, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). Led by the ECT and ISISA research teams, along with the AI-IoT Club, the program offers weekly reading sessions, coding workshops, and discussions based on Sebastian Raschka's book Build a Large Language Model from Scratch. The initiative aims to deepen understanding of LLMs, foster independence in AI research, and build a collaborative community. PhD students are invited to apply and contribute to advancing AI research excellence at our faculty.

On November 8, 2024, a Preparation Session for the Generative AI Course with Google was held, led by Prof. Adil Enaanai and Dr. Mohammed Mghari. This two-hour session introduced participants to foundational concepts in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI while also providing an overview of the Kaggle platform and its applications, setting the stage for the online course scheduled from November 11–15, 2024.

October 14 to 24, 2024, the Faculty of Science in Tetouan hosted the Python Essentials 1 Training, led by Dr. Mohamed Mghari. This comprehensive program covered key Python concepts, including the fundamentals, data structures (List, Tuple, Set, Dict), and object-oriented programming. Participants also explored Python environments such as Jupyter Notebook and cloud-based tools, gaining practical skills for various applications. More information…
